Itinerary
On arrival at Patna Airport, meet and greet, followed by a transfer to Janakpur (approx. 4 hours 30 minutes), also known as Janakpurdham—the ancient capital of Mithila where Mata Sita was raised by King Janak.
Stop at the India–Nepal border immigration check post (open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Janakpur
Morning Visit the grand Janaki Temple, Nepal’s largest temple dedicated to Sita, known for its unique Hindu-Koiri architecture, three-storied structure, and vibrant artwork.
Dhanush Sagar, Ganga Sagar, and Ram-Sita Vivah Mandap, the sacred place of Lord Ram and Sita’s marriage.
Later, drive to Sitamarhi (60 km / 1 hour), believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita. Visit Janaki Temple, Janaki Kund, and the ancient Haleshwar Sthan (Shiva Temple).
Later proceed to Patna. Overnight at Patna
After breakfast – In time transfer to Airport/ Railway
