In the morning, visit Vishnupad Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and known for the sacred footprint carved in basalt. (Optional: Perform Pind-Daan, a ritual offering for departed souls, at the Falgu River, Akshayvat, and Vishnupad Temple.) Later, visit the Mangla Gauri Temple, one of the eighteen Maha Shaktipeeths.
Continue to the Dungeshwari Caves, where Prince Siddhartha meditated for years in extreme austerity before attaining enlightenment. Then visit the International Monasteries, including Thai, Bhutanese, Sri Lankan, and Japanese centers, along with the 80-foot statue.
Visit Sujata Stupa and Sujata Village, where Sujata offered a bowl of rice milk to Siddhartha, inspiring the Middle Path. The Sujata Temple marks this sacred spot.
Rest of the day is free. Overnight stay at Bodh Gaya.
