Itinerary
Upon arrival at Patna Airport Meet and greet later drive to Rajgir approx 3 Hours En route
Visit the ruins of Nalanda Mahavihara (Nalanda University), one of the world’s oldest centers of higher learning and a renowned hub of Buddhist studies, dating back to the 5th century CE. A UNESCO World Heritage Site . Timings 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Later visit Nalanda Archaeological Museum (Closed on Fridays)
Upon arrival , Check In hotel . Rest of the day is free . Dinner and Overnight stay at Rajgir
After breakfast visit Gridhakuta Hill (Vulture’s Peak), where Lord Buddha meditated and taught, followed by Bimbisara Jail, Ajatashatru’s Fort, and Venu Vana, the first monastery gifted to Buddha by King Bimbisara and a peaceful retreat for meditation and preaching. After Lunch proceed to Bodh Gaya the place of the Buddha’s Enlightenment Upon arrival , Check In Hotel Dinner and Overnight stay at Bodh Gaya
After breakfast Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the sacred Bodhi Tree, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Later visit the Dungeshwari Cave Temples (Mahakala Caves), where Buddha meditated before reaching Bodhgaya, and visit Sujata Village, where Sujata offered him rice milk, inspiring the Middle Path and marking a pivotal moment in his journey to enlightenment.
In the evening, attend to Bodhi Pooja at the scared Bodhi Tree. Dinner and Overnight stay at Bodh Gaya.
After breakfast visit International Monasteries- Built by countries worldwide, showcasing diverse Buddhist traditions. and 80 feet Buddha Statue . After Lunch . In times transfer to Patna Airport for onward journey.
