Itinerary
Upon Arrival at Deoghar Airport:
You will be met and greeted by a Punpun Trails representative. Enjoy a scenic late drive to Deoghar—the celestial abode of gods and goddesses, home to the sacred Baidyanath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. This temple is among the most prominent attractions in Deoghar, drawing millions of devotees every year.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning visit Baidyanath temple Jyotirlinga The temple opens at 04:00 a.m. and closes at 09:00 p.m. (it also closes between 03:30 p.m. and 06:00 p.m.).

Shiva Ganga – This sacred pond is located in the northern part of the Baba Baidyanath Temple complex. Devotees take a holy dip here before performing darshan and puja. It is also known as Bhav-Rog Harakund, believed to cleanse both physical and spiritual ailments.
There are broadly 6 types of Rudrabhishek at Baidyanath temple
- Jal Abhishek: For Vriddhi and fulfillment one’s desires.
- Dudh Abhishek: For longevity.
- Shahad Abhishek: Shahad meaning honey. For freedom from all of life’s troubles and misfortunes.
- Panchamrit Abhishek : Panchamrit is blended with 5 different elements namely milk, curd, jaggery, honey, and ghee. These 5 elements together form the panchamrit. They are offered to seek blessings for wealth and prosperity.
- Ghee Abhishek: This prevents any form of illness or physical problems from falling on the devotee.
- Dahi Abhishek : This helps a childless couple to have a child.
Gathbandhan Puja – The Sacred Nuptial Knot at Baidyanath Dham
Gathbandhan Puja, also known as the “Sacred Knot Ceremony,” is a revered ritual performed at Baidyanath Dham (Baba Mandir)in Deoghar. It symbolizes the eternal bond of marriage, seeking divine blessings from Lord Shiva (Baidyanath) and Goddess Parvati for a blissful, harmonious, and unbreakable union.
A sacred red ribbon (Mouli) is tied between:
Baba Baidyanath Temple (Shiva)
Maa Parvati Temple (Shaktipeetha, located within the same complex)
This physical knot mirrors the spiritual bond of marriage, blessed by the divine couple themselves.
There are 21 temples in addition to baba Baidyanath Temple in the temple premises. It is believed that Mother Sati’s Heart fell in the land of deoghar. Devadhidev Mahadev ‘s kamna Ling was established at the same place.
Return to Hotel . After breakfast later proceed to Basukinath – Dedicated to Lord Shiva approx 45kms one- way which is considered incomplete without paying homage at Basukinath.
En-route visit Trikuta Shiva Temple, which is situated at the top.Enjoyed ropeway at Trikuth Parvat. ( Subject to operational )
Return to Hotel . After Lunch
visit Naulakha temple is dedicated to Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna. Its architecture looks a lot like that of the Ramakrishna Temple in Baldur, West Bengal . Rikhia Yoga Ashram is a promiment Center of Yoga, Meditation and Peace located 12km from Deoghar Town. Rikhia Ashram at Deoghar was established by Swami Satyananda Saraswati in 1988. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith.
In the evening attend Shringar Pooja at Baidyanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at hotel Deoghar
After breakfast at the hotel. Drive to to Gaya — the Land of Enlightenment and Salvation. Check in to the hotel upon arrival. Enjoy lunch and rest for a few hours.
Later, visit the Thai, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Japan monasteries, the 80-foot Buddha Statue.
In the evening, visit the Mahabodhi Temple and the sacred Bodhi Tree, where Buddha attained Nirvana.
Dinner and overnight stay at Gaya
In the morning, take only a bath, as you will be performing Pind-Daan today (optional). We have pre-arranged a priest (Panda Ji) and Puja Samagri for you. Pind-Daan will be performed at Falgu River, Akshayvat, and Vishnupad Temple.
Vishnupad Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, houses a footprint of Vishnu carved into a basalt rock. Later, visit Mangla Gauri Temple, one of the eighteen Maha Shakti Peethas. Return to the hotel. After Lunch drive to Varanasi approx 6 Hours , stopping en route at Maa Tara Chandi Temple, a sacred shrine dedicated to Maa Shakti (Durga). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early morning, take a dip in the holy waters of the River Ganga, followed by a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the breathtaking sunrise. Later, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple—one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and among the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva—located on the western bank of the Ganges River.
Afterward, visit the Annapurna Temple, dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, and the Kaal Bhairav Temple, known as the “Kotwal of Kashi,” the protective deity of the city

Return to Hotel. After breakfast proceed temple tour visiting , Durga Temple, & New Kashi Viswanath Temple in Banaras Hindu University, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and Mani Mandir
In the evening, you will visit the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat on the banks of the sacred Ganga River. The Aarti usually begins around 6:00 PM. Please note that this is a No Vehicle Zone, so our vehicle will stop at the designated parking area. From there, you will either walk or take a cycle rickshaw through the bustling and crowded market to reach the ghat.
After the Aarti, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Morning drive to Sarnath, located approximately 15 km from Varanasi city. This is the sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.
Visit the Buddha temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Archaeological Museum.
Day free for leisure & shopping Varanasi is famous for silk products. In time transfer to airport / railways station to catch the flight / train for onwards destination
